Who was the man that inspired you to become a great footballer?
ANSWER:
No one inspired me. I began playing football of my own volition. As my parents and me emigrated to Germany, I was nine years old. At that time I hadn't even the dream to become a professional footballer. Not until I was fifteen there were indications.

ANSWER:
Oliver Kahn of course and Petr Cech.

Who do you think is the best? OLIVER KAHN or ANTONIS NIKOPOLIDIS?
ANSWER:
Nikopolidis is a very good goalie but Kahn was even a bit better I think.

What are you hobbies?
ANSWER:
I havn't hobbies like other sports or something like this. Preferably in my spare time I meet friends or my family, sitting in cafes, restaurants or in my home to relax or playing with my dog. And of course every day I go on the internet looking the forum of my homepage www.ioannisamanatidis.com.

ANSWER:
I couldn't say a lot about Pele. I only know him by television. Maradona I saw playing live. Both were fantastic footballers I think but about Maradona I was mightly impressed.

It's a great feeling to become member our National Football team and I am very proud to this day playing for Greece.

I never had an idol.

Yes, its possible but first of all we have to qualify. Than all bets are off.

ANSWER:
It was the goal against Turkey in October 2007, so we were qualified to European Championship.

What is your advice for a new footballer?
ANSWER:
No one masters anything without hard work. Only a few footballers have a shining talent. The others have to work out hardly day for day, believe in themselves and never drop up by the wayside. This is most important.

ANSWER:
Alex Hleb in Stuttgart. Alex has an excellent playing technique. I'm glad that he came back to Bundesliga, regrettably not to my club.

I learned from every coach a bit.

What are the chances for Eintracht Frankfurt to win the Bundesliga?
ANSWER:
If we spared from many injuries, we are able to play a successful season. Our team has a lot of potential, there is no mistake about it. We target a better rank than last year and I think, this is possible.
