QUESTION:
Who was the man that inspired you to become a great voice actor?
ANSWER:
My early influences would include Peter Sellers, Peter Ustinov, and a lot of the radio actors I heard when I was a child.

QUESTION:
What was the best and the worst moment of your career?
ANSWER:
Being the announcer on the Academy Awards was a big thrill. It was also exciting to get the lead role in Voltron early in my voice-over career. At the time I wasn’t sure if I could even get work in the field. The worst experiences would be getting fired from the first two radio jobs I ever had. My employers told me that I had no talent for radio and should do something else.

QUESTION:

QUESTION:
Here in Greece, you are very famous from Spiderman. How do you feel about that?
ANSWER:
Surprised. I assumed that the shows would have been dubbed into the Greek language and that nobody there would have even heard of me.

QUESTION:
Who was the best partner in your career?
ANSWER:
My agent, Dona Lee Davies. Without her I doubt if I would have had anything like the career I’ve had. She passed away a few years ago.

QUESTION:
When was your debut in Television?
ANSWER:
I was the announcer on KGMB television in Honolulu, Hawaii from 1965 to 1968. If you mean what was my first cartoon appearance, that would have been in an earlier version of Spiderman in 1981 or an episode of Richie Rich. They happened more or less at the same time.

Yes.

ANSWER:
I have a daughter who is almost 22.

QUESTION:
Finally, what do you believe about Spiderman series? Hobgoblin or Green Goblin?
ANSWER:
I didn’t play the Hobgoblin. That was Mark Hamill as I recall. As far as the show is concerned, it seems to have stood the test of time. A lot of people remember it and have been very complimentary about my work. The Osborn/Goblin part was a great opportunity.

QUESTION:
What is your advice for the new voice actors?
ANSWER:
Listen to as many different voices as you can. Work as much as you can. And if you can’t work – practice, practice, practice.

ANSWER:
I exercise and study Martial Arts.

QUESTION:

ANSWER:
Three cats.

QUESTION:
Tell us something about yourself.
ANSWER:
I would describe myself as lucky - because I always knew what I wanted to do and I was fortunate enough to be able to do it. I decided that I wanted to work in radio when I was fifteen years old and by the age of eighteen I was in the business. Later, when I was older and began losing interest in radio, I developed a passion for voice-over work and managed to get into that business as well. Many people never figure out what they want to do. Others do but aren’t able to make it happen.

QUESTION:
Tell us something about your family and your friends.
ANSWER:
I’ve been with my wife for thirty five years. My friends tend to be people I’ve known for a long time as well. Most of my friends are people I met in radio or voice-overs.
