QUESTION:
Who was the man that inspirend you to become a great and famous actor?
ANSWER:
...I used to watch the Westerns when television was in black and white. There were some great actors on those shows like Richard Boone in "Have Gun Will Travel" and Nick Adams in "The Rebel." Also, Steve McQueen in "Wanted, Dead or Alive" was one of my mentors...unbeknownst to him! These were great dramatic actors that I emulated. Funny to me that I would become known as a comic actor. Funny, since I always wanted to act from on top of a horse!

QUESTION:
What is your advice for the new actors?
ANSWER:
...don't go into the business to be famous, or make a killing. It might kill you first. Love acting...so much, that you would do theatre in the ghettos for nothing. Then, if you're that serious and passionate about it, you might make it. If not, keep your present job.
